During the late 1940s, the 'TSB' as the bank was known had a branch at 44 Robertson Street, taking over the premises of a photographic studio[1], with a further branch at 45 Kings Road. By 1965, the bank moved into a larger branch at Havelock Road (previously Martin's Bank[2]), the Robertson Street premises being converted to an Opticians.
