Winchester's was a builder's merchant and hardware store on Old London Road in Ore run by the locally well-known Winchester family.

In February 2001, police dug under a wooden shed in the yard behind the main store in Graystone Lane in an attempt to locate some of the missing Brinks-Mat gold. The search, however was unsuccessful.
