Now absorbed into Bohemia Road, this road started at the south-eastern side of Upper Park Road and extended down towards the town centre. Number 1 was occupied by Charles Gold's Corn and Coal stores between 1875[1] and 1887[2]; 'The Stores' at number 9, a grocery store run by Mr. James Moren in 1875[3]; and number 66 by E. Smith and Son bakers in 1878, the bakery becoming number 49 Bohemia Road[4].
