Promenade Construction
From Historical Hastings
Hastings has had the front line, or Promenade extended and enlarged progressively almost since the town's earliest days, with notable pushes in development taking place in 1877[1], 1907[2], 1930s[3] when Bottle Alley was built, 1950s[4] and most recently during the 1980s when the Pelham Place car park was constructed.
