This terrace of houses now at 162-192 Battle Road, constructed between 1873[1] and 1893[2] was demolished and replaced with a block of terraced properties with balconies looking over Battle Road during the 1970s, the name being retained. In 1925, the freehold to five of the properties (numbers 190 to 202 Battle Road) came up for sale at auction[3]
