Tourist Information Centre

From Historical Hastings

Based at 9 Verulam Place between 1965 and the 1970s, this building was originally planned as a home for Hastings Museum, but was found to be too small leading to the John's Place site being chosen. When the Information Centre moved out, the building was utilised for a time as a English as a Foreign Language (EFL) school with other usages on various other floors - this building being demolished in 1987.
