Under the Grosvenor Hotel is where Thomas Ross opened his shop on his removal from 6, Castle Street, and from where the several later editions of his guide were published; and at the opposite corner (now Batemans,optician), was Diplock's Library and Reading Room, 38, Robertson Street[1]
