Template:Showfacts ahnentafel

Template documentationPurpose: Creates an Ahnentafel numbered list of ancestors by generation. Up to 8 generations may be output. Unlike {{showfacts ahn list}}, only a link to the ancestor article is provided.
Parameter:
- parameter 1: number of generations to output, counting the subject. A value of 2 would output the subject and the generation of the parents only. If a specific number is not requested, 4 generations will be listed.
- page: subject person (defaults to BASEPAGENAME)
