Sept 25th Bridgewater Cattle Show & Fair we took our food for all day, lovely sunny day.
Sept 26th Sent Hector's letter. We left Churchill.
Sept 28th 1940 Hec come to see us on Oct 9th until Oct 13th going back by bicycle to Frome on Sunday morning, then by train to Paddington. Hec arrived at Hastings at 11:45pm. Mr Snook gave in his notice.
