Born around 1892, and prior to serving in the Royal Army Medical Corps during WW1 as an orderly was an ironmonger. During the 1920s, he resided at 34 St. Mary's Terrace and ran a stationery business from 14 Tower Road.
At the close of WW2, he would appear to have married a woman from Weston Super-Mare where he died in 1955
