Leisure Music
From Historical Hastings
Leisure Music were a musical instrument retailer who had premises in Silverhill Villas Sedlescombe Road North during the early 1970s, expanding their range to include sales of records and cassette tapes by 1977[1].
By 1974 There was a small rehearsal room/recording studio run by the proprietors, Alan Carlton and Reville Stockdale[2], behind the shop that was accessed via an alleyway running behind the villas.
By the 1980s, the shop had been renamed to Musicland under new owners following a spell being known as 'Feedback'[3].
