Buckets and Spades was a Jewish home for mentally handicapped children on Lancaster Road. Soon after conversion to a nursing home, it was consumed by fire in the 1990s and subsequently demolished.

Prior to the conversion into a childrens home, the ​building​ was the Beauchamp Hotel
