Named in the Kelly's 1956 Directory as being located at 88 Milward Road, the building having been constructed circa 1880 was used as a boarding house during the late 19th/early 20th century[1]. By 1936, it appears as part of a property portfolio held by Matilda Noakes (c1843-1935) (Decd) in an auction listing for this house, six others nearly adjacent to it and a further five properties elsewhere[2]
