Design and construction
Architect	Norman Shaw

Located on Ebdens Hill, the ​building​ was designed by Norman Shaw for the Ebden family (hence the naming of the ​road​ in this particular spot) and was built around 1884. The ​building​ later became the location for Claremont Preparatory School.
