Henry Samuel Steers (1857-1944)

Born in Brighton, Henry Steers was the proprietor of the Cigar Cabin in Harold Place. Prior to opening this business in 1918, he worked as a coach-driver, riding master, then job-master. He was resident at 3 Magdalen Road and moved during WW2 to Gloucester where he died in 1944. Henry had three children.
